Wendy began riding at age 4 with Elizabeth Morrison at Hazelwild Farm in Fredericksburg, Virginia. As a junior, Wendy rode with Wayne Eubank at Rosemont Farm showing at the local and rated levels. From 1988 thru 1998 she directed Hazelwild Farm's community lesson program and summer riding programs along with managing the boarding facility. Wendy taught students of all ages and levels, took students from the local level thru the juniors and equitations at the rated horseshows.
Wendy rode and taught at home for Pam Baker of Hillcrest Farms in Bealeton, Virginia until moving to Kitty Hawk, North Carolina in 2002 when she began to offer training and lessons at various farms in Virginia and North Carolina.
Wendy joined Briarwood Farm in 2006 and has taken students and horses of all levels from the local level to competing successfully at the rated horseshows.
